Usually, channels put out shows on DVD right after it airs. For whatever reason though, I’ve been waiting a while for The Middle Season 3 to arrive on DVD. Back in 2010, I was introduced to the show when I posted a season one review. I feel in love with the show with that review. Last year, I happened to find a great deal on the second season at Walmart. So, my boyfriend purchased it and we watched it promptly. It then occurred to me that the fourth season was airing, but we hadn’t seen the third one. That was because they are just now releasing it and I was able to snag a preview copy for review!
The Middle Season 3
I actually used to watch this show pretty regularly. I would then talk about it with my dad as he watched it as well. Now, if I ever do watch it at the house, my mom calls it one of dad’s shows. Between my hectic schedule and missing dad, I haven’t watched the show on tv like I used to. However, The Middle Season 3 is proving to be just as humorous and enjoyable as the previous two seasons were.
This three-disc collection features 24 hilarious half-hour episodes plus bonus features including a laugh-out-loud gag reel and deleted scenes. I received my copy late last week and so far, I’ve viewed the first four episodes with my boyfriend. We literally laughed out loud during those episodes and even replayed portions.
I love the characters in this show! I can totally relate to Sue and her dorkiness/awkwardness. Bric’s lack of interest in others and weird ways are too cute. Axl always has a sarcastic comment to lighten the mood (I like that he does have a softer side that he occasionally shows). My boyfriend likes Mike as he is not just another typical tv dad. He’s deeper than that. There’s definitely a character for everyone in The Middle Season 3 and I’m so happy they have finally put it out there for us all to enjoy.
So, have you ever watched The Middle? What was your impression of it?
