Disclosure: This post about the US Cellular rewards program was made possible by the compensation and free phone I received.
Back in May, I announced that I was a U.S. Cellular Better Moments Blogger Brigade Member and in that first post, I listed the reasons I’m happy to be one of their long-term customers. One of the things I mentioned was the US Cellular Rewards Program. Today, I want to discuss it more in-depth.
US Cellular Rewards
The US Cellular Rewards Program makes them a better cell phone company because it offers a valuable rewards program that recognizes loyalty. Registering is easy and you will start to earn points every month to use for a variety of rewards. I feel like they value me as a customer when they give me the points as they will let me get new and awesome things with them. Before I get to the rewards though, I want to tell you the simple ways you can earn points.
You can earn points by doing even the most basic things. You get points by simply being a U.S Cellular customer on a rewards-eligible plan because you get points every month when you pay your bill. You can also earn points by attending device workshops or by referring a friend. You can also get a tenure bonus of 150 points every six months just for staying on your Plan. Additionally, I just learned that you will earn 50 points just for having a birthday while you’re a U.S. Cellular customer! Yay! Mom just had her birthday on Sunday, so that’s a nice surprise.
So, now that you (hopefully) see how easy it is to earn points in the US Cellular Rewards program, I want to give you an idea what types of things you can use those points on. For starters, you can use them to get a new cell phone faster (18 months versus 24). You can also use them to purchase a cell phone for $.01! That’s a penny! I’m actually currently hoarding my points as I know I’ll want a new phone when I can get it. However, I must admit that I’m tempted to go ahead and use the points on a cool new accessory or event. I’m eyeing a couple of Bluetooth headsets and speakers. Plus, they even have the option of tickets to certain events.
As you can see, U.S. Cellular treats their customers like neighbors not numbers with the US Cellular Rewards program. So, what would you like to get with your points from them?
