I’ve found a little something that can make your Valentine’s Day celebrations a little more fun and that little something is Alizé Liqueur. I actually don’t drink that much (like at all) because I’m picky about what I drink (and my college is a dry campus). I have had mostly just mixed drinks when out eating so far.
I was lucky enough to have a bottle of Alizé Red Passion delivered to my home address to try. Woot! Upon opening the box, my mom asked what I got. Haha! When I told her what it was and that it contained vodka, she wanted to try some. Bahaha! So, I ended up opening the bottle and giving my mother a glass to try with me.
Being the alcohol novice, I’m still trying to get used to the burn of it and all. However, I really liked the initial flavor of this drink. It’s really nice. My mom really liked this drink! I mean really liked it. She thought it was great. My dad is not a big fan of fruit flavored drinks, so he passed on this one. My boyfriend simply smelled some of it and decided not to try it because he was afraid he would like it too much. He’s a huge fan of fruit and fruit-flavored things. Since we were at my house and he had to drive back home, he decided it was best if he didn’t partake.
So, even though I didn’t exactly try it with my boyfriend, I did get to bond with my mom who loves me. Haha! There are some great alcoholic drink recipes on the Alizé site which I think sound terrific. Here are a few recipes that I didn’t find on the site, but was sent from my contact.
For the romantic couple:
3 oz Alizé Red Passion
3 oz Taittinger Champagne
Serve chilled in a champagne glass.
This one I think is more college student appropriate. ; )
2 oz Red Bull
1 oz Alizé Red Passion
½ oz Grapefruit vodka
Build in a Collins glass filled with ice and garnish with a rose petal or cherry.
Check out Alizé Liqueur for you Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Just curious, what is your favorite alcoholic beverage?
Disclosure: I received a free bottle of Alizé Red Passion for review purposes. No compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.
